The invention provides an intelligent ventilation system of an automobile and a control method of the intelligent ventilation system. The system comprises a detection unit, a control unit, a ventilation unit and a warning unit; the system monitors concentration of oxygen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, formaldehyde, smoke and the like in the automobile in real time by the aid of the detection unit, when the corresponding concentration in the air does not conform to human health and comfort standards, the control unit starts an external circulation system of the automobile and drives an automobile window motor to control windows to be opened automatically, and ventilation in the automobile is finished in the shortest time; when the system detects that the air quality is up to the standards, ventilation is stopped timely; the air quality of the space in the automobile is ensured to be good all the time, so that the health and the life safety of a driver are maintained. The system is reasonable in design and high in practicability.
