A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
The invention relates to a method for preparing granular artificial pumices by taking illite-chlorite slates as a raw material. In the method, illite-chlorite slates are taken as ore raw materials, and no other reagent is added; and the method comprises the following steps: 1, crushing ore raw materials into ores with a particle size of -20 mm by using a crushing device; 2, sieving the crushed ores by using a sieving device so as to obtain a material with a particle size of 3-20 mm; 3, in an air environment, heating the sieved material to 240-800 DEG C at a heating speed of 10-20 DEG C/min by using a calcining-heating device, and carrying out heat preservation for 12-30 min; 4, in an air environment, heating the material subjected to preheating and heat preservation to 1150-1300 DEG C at a heating speed of 10-20 DEG C/min, and carrying out heat preservation for 15-30 min; 5, in an air environment, slowly cooling the calcined and puffed material to below 400 DEG C; and 6, by using the sieving device, sieving the calcined, puffed and cooled material so as to obtain a material with a particle size of 5-25 mm, so that a granular artificial pumice is obtained. The method is good in safety, simple in process, easy to popularize and apply and wide in application, has an obvious effect, and has remarkable social and economic benefits.
