The invention discloses a piezoceramic material and a preparation method thereof; the piezoceramic material is prepared from the following components in parts by weight: 75-82 parts of BaTiO3, 15-23 parts of ZrO2, 5-10 parts of BaCo3, 2-4 parts of Na2SiO3.5H2O, 1-2.5 parts of polyaluminium chloride, 0.8-1.4 parts of V2O5 and 0.05-0.8 part of sodium chloride. The invention further provides a preparation method of the piezoceramic material.
