The invention relates to a portable garbage cleaning device. The portable garbage cleaning device comprises a handle, a straight rod and a claw-shaped device which are in up-down connection. The claw-shaped device comprises at least two claw portions. The handle comprises a fixed portion and a movable portion opposite to the fixed portion. The fixed portion sleeves the top end of the straight rod. The movable portion is hinged to the straight rod. The claw portions are connected to a metal ring through springs. The metal ring is connected with a flexible metal wire arranged in the straight rod. The flexible metal wire is fixedly connected with the lower end of the movable portion of the handle after being wound around a pulley at the top end of the straight rod and is in a tensioned state constantly. The garbage cleaning device is simple in structure and convenient to use and can grab garbage at low and high positions conveniently due to combination of the handle, the straight rod and the claw portions.
