The invention discloses a novel environment-friendly material used for a building. The novel environment-friendly material comprises wood particles, non-woven cloth and glass fibers; various patterns with three-dimensional lines are pressed and knitted with a special process and combined with a special waterborne mercerization coating; wall cloth with rich pattern textures and constantly changing colors has very strong flexibility and breathability, can effectively prevent cracking of a wall body, and cannot cause problems of mildewing, edge warping and the like of conventional wallpaper; the special mercerization coating on the surface of the novel material can bear corrosion of a detergent, so that a wall surface carelessly dirtied due to bumping can be safely cleaned regardless of use of the acidic or alkaline detergent for i-k.
