The invention provides a drill bit for forming a bottom expanding cast-in-place pile and a construction step. The drill bit comprises a conventional drill bit (4) for forming a straight hole, a spiral drill rod (1) and a bottom expanding drill bit (3). The spiral drill rod (1) penetrates in the bottom expanding drill bit (3), and extends to the end part of the conventional drill bit (4). Correspondingly, the invention further provides a construction step for forming the bottom expanding cast-in-place pile. The technological scheme of the invention not only can improve the efficiency without replacing the drill bit, but also can increase the height of a pile end-expanded space to effectively improve the bearing capacity of the cast-in-place pile.
