Quick-drying iron runner castable as well as preparation method ad use method thereof
The invention provides a quick-drying iron runner castable which is prepared from brown fused alumina, silicon carbide, titanium carbide, coal gangue, an antioxidant, pure calcium aluminate cement, micro silicon powder, an antiknock agent and a water reducing agent. The invention also provides a preparation method of the castable, and the preparation method comprises the following steps: putting the brown fused alumina, the silicon carbide, the titanium carbide, the coal gangue, the antioxidant, the pure calcium aluminate cement, the micro silicon powder, the antiknock agent and the water reducing agent into a strong stirrer according to respective proportions, and stirring for 3-5 minutes to obtain a uniform castable. The invention also provides a use method of the castable, and the use method comprises the following steps: adding water which accounts for 3-4wt% of the total mass of the castable into the castable, stirring in the strong stirrer for 1-2 minutes to ensure that the castable can be used for masonry; and after masonry, baking for 2-3 hours at 500-600 DEG C to ensure that the castable can be used for performing iron exchanging operation. The thermal shock resistance, scour resistance, erosion resistance and oxidation resistance of the quick-drying iron runner castable provided by the invention are far higher than those of a conventional Al2O3-SiC-C castable; and moreover, the quick-drying iron runner castable provided by the invention is greatly reduced in water consumption, and has a characteristic of quick drying.
