A preparation method for the phosphogypsum-based marble-imitated structure building material comprises the following steps: burdening, ageing, forming, performing autoclaved curing, processing a phosphogypsum substrate, drying, spraying and obtaining a finished product. The phosphogypsum-based marble-imitated structure building material has the characteristics of being simple in construction process, light, good in waterproof and fireproof performance, high in compressive strength, high in breaking strength and strong in weather resistance and has a good decorative effect while being used as an indoor decorative building material, a great deal of phosphogypsum is consumed, exploitation of natural stones is reduced, and very import important significance is achieved for protecting the environment and realizing sustainable development.
