The invention provides an alumina ceramic composite material. According to a technical scheme, the composite material comprises: 70-85% of alumina, 50% of silicon dioxide, 20% of calcium oxide, 15% of magnesium oxide, and the balance impurities. The composite material is characterized by being prepared by: according to the weight percentage, mixing 70-85% of alumina, 50% of silicon dioxide, 20% of calcium oxide, and 15% of magnesium oxide, conducting hot press molding at 1200-1500DEG C and 20-28MPa, and keeping a constant temperature for 15-20min. The composite material provided by the invention has the advantages of simple preparation process, low raw material cost and small production investment, thus being a low-cost alumina ceramic composite material.
