The invention provides a high strength graphite composite material. According to a technical scheme, the high strength graphite composite material is composed of the following raw materials by weight percentage: 40%-60% of 1-60micrometer natural graphite powder, 3%-5% of 1-30Si powder, and 20%-30% of a binder. The high strength graphite composite material is characterized by being prepared by: mixing the raw materials according to the weight percentage, conducting hot pressing molding at 2000-2500DEG C and 16-35MPa, and maintaining a constant temperature for 8-12min. The high strength graphite composite material provided by the invention has the advantages of high strength, high thermal stability, and low resistivity, volatile matter and thermal expansion coefficient.
