The present invention discloses the ceramic shaped abrasive particles and the shaped ceramic precursor particles, wherein each ceramic shaped abrasive particle contains alpha aluminum oxide and is defined by the surfaces of a plurality of surfaces which are jointed along the common edges, wherein the surfaces have gaps partially, and the gaps are shaped into the hollow elliptical parts; the plurality of surfaces comprise an exposure surface having a part of the gaps and possessing the first density of the gaps, and a mold surface having a part of the gaps and possessing the second density of the gaps, and the first density of the gaps is larger than the second density of the gaps.
