The waterproof and anti-crack insulation building block comprises a main body with a hole and an insulation material filled in the hole of the main body, wherein the main body is made of waterproof and anti-crack concrete; the ingredients of the waterproof and anti-crack concrete are mainly composed of a water reducer, a water repellent, cellulose ether, polypropylene fibres, cement, gelatine powder, cinder powder and coarse cinder; the particle of the cinder powder is less than 2.5 millimetres, and the particle of the coarse cinder is less than 10 millimetres and greater than 5 millimetres. The waterproof and anti-crack insulation building block used for an external retaining part of a building, which is provided by the invention is high in strength, low in volume weight, extremely low in water absorption rate, anti-crack, and capable of providing a great insulation performance and being coated with a heavy ornament. In addition, the waterproof and anti-crack insulation building block provided by the invention is capable of utilizing the solid waste cinder and saving energy, and is low in cost and beneficial to environment protection.
