The invention discloses an emergency disposal method for a water source polluted by arsenic trioxide. The emergency disposal method is safe and efficient and comprises the steps that a large amount of lime is added into polluted water to carry out neutralization and sedimentation; a dam is built on the upstream position of an accident point for closure, an artificial stream is excavated, the stream is changed to go around the accident point, polluted sand stone is mechanically shoveled, a large amount of cement and lime is poured into a bed bottom of the accident point to be stirred, and the polluted sand stone which cannot be cleared away in the bed bottom is solidified. The method can be widely applied to water quality protection, and guarantee is brought to drinking safety of downstream residents.
