The invention discloses a maintenance-free buckling-free steel-composite material energy-consuming support. The maintenance-free buckling-free steel-composite material energy-consuming support comprises an energy-consuming steel core, an outer packaging GFRP (glass fiber reinforced polymer), a GFRP supporting rib plate and filling foam, wherein the energy-consuming steel core penetrates through the outer packaging GFRP in a straight mode or a crossed mode; the energy-consuming support is longitudinally divided into a restrain section, flexible sections and connecting sections, wherein the restrain section is arranged in the middle, the flexible sections are arranged at the two sides of the restrain section, and the connecting sections are arranged at the outer sides of the flexible sections; filling foam is arranged between the outer-layer GFRP in the restrain section and the flexible sections and the energy-consuming steel core; the GFRP supporting rib plate connecting the outer-layer FGRP with the energy-consuming steel core is arranged in the restrain section; a bolt hole for connecting a bolt is formed in each connecting section; the bolt holes penetrate through the outer-layer GFRP and the energy-consuming steel core. The maintenance-free buckling-free steel-composite material energy-consuming support has the advantages of being light in weight, free of maintenance, resistant to corrosion, excellent in energy-consuming performance, and free of bending in steel core.
