The invention relates to a building material and in particular relates to a novel earthquake-resistant brick capable of resisting earthquakes. The earthquake-resistant brick, the same as a common brick, is a rectangular solid brick consisting of twelve edges and six surfaces; and the difference is that the centers of the six surfaces of the novel earthquake-resistant brick provided by the invention are made into concave arc-shaped grooves as shown in the attached drawing in the specification. When the brick is used in construction, the contact surfaces between the concave arc-shaped grooves and cement mortar are increased, and the adhesive property is good, so that the earthquake-resistant coefficient can be improved. The novel earthquake-resistant brick provided by the invention has the beneficial effects that the internal structure of a wall body is changed, the earthquake resistance of the wall body is improved, and the brick is easy to produce, can save materials, and has very good practicability and popularization valve.
