A mass ratio of the fire retardant to the asphalt matrix is in a range of 7-15%. A mass ratio of the high-modulus agent to the total asphalt mixture is in a range of 0.3-0.5%. Through synergism of the ingredients, the flame retardant asphalt mixture has good flame retardation performances and excellent endurance. The preparation method improves endurance and low temperature crack resistance of the asphalt mixture and further improves high temperature performances and water stability. The preparation method is simple, is realized easily and has a good market prospect and a popularization value.
