The invention discloses an autoclaved sand-lime brick made from cured slag and a preparation method of same. The autoclaved sand-lime brick made from the cured slag is composed of following raw materials, by weight: 70-85 parts of the cured slag, 0-20 parts of lime, 0-20 parts of cement and 0-5 parts of sodium sulfate. The preparation method includes steps of material blending, material stirring, digestion, roll grinding, compression moulding and autoclaved curing. The autoclaved sand-lime brick can fully use large amount of cured slag so that occupied land area for stacking the slag and environment pollution are reduced. The autoclaved sand-lime brick is energy-saving and environmental-protective, is low in production cost, is excellent in heat insulation performance, is high in strength and can be used for build a bearing wall.
