The invention discloses a large-span net ceiling and a mounting method thereof on account of the problems that the large-space attractiveness effect is affected by the exposure of roof trusses and support systems, and increased decorative ceilings are limited by suspension rod support roof truss stress. The ceiling comprises at least one net unit. Each net unit comprises a net framework and two curve plates arranged on the net framework, and the two curve plates protrude to form a hollow structure. By means of the hollow arrangement, the weight can be reduced, so that the net units can be suspended below a cable net structure safely and reliably, and the net ceiling weight can be transferred to a structural ring beam through the cable net structure, accordingly, the form of transferring of the net ceiling gravity to the roof truss structure through the ceiling and a transfer layer in the prior art can be cancelled, and the roof truss cannot be stressed. The net ceiling can be assembled into any shapes and has the advantages of being wide in application and attractive in shape.
