The invention discloses a parking space automatic locking device based on solar energy. The parking space automatic locking device comprises a mechanical part and an electronic part. The mechanical part comprises a motor, a drive shaft and a swing arm, wherein the motor is connected with the drive shaft in a chaining mode. The electronic part comprises an infrared remote control, an infrared receiving head, a main control chip single chip microcomputer, a photoelectric detection circuit and a motor drive circuit. When parking is needed by a user, an unlocking button of the infrared remote control is pressed to give out an unlocking signal, the infrared receiving head receives the signal and transmits the signal to the single chip microcomputer, then the single chip microcomputer conducts decoding processing on the received signal, when the received code value is correct, the single chip microcomputer sends a signal to the drive circuit, the drive circuit drives the motor to rotate, the motor is connected with the drive shaft in the chaining mode, then the drive shaft drives the swing arm to rotate, when the swing arm rotates to a needed position, a light blocking ring on the swing arm blocks a photoelectric switch, a signal is sent out to the single chip microcomputer, the single chip microcomputer processes the signal, and then the signal is sent, so that the motor is made to stop rotating. Electric power is provided by a storage battery, and a solar cell panel is used for charging the storage battery.
