The invention relates to a portable straight ladder made of a carbon fiber composite material. The straight ladder comprises vertical bars arranged on two sides and horizontal bars, which are horizontally arranged in the center; the vertical bars are composed of a plurality of sections, which are made of a carbon fiber enhanced composite material, each vertical bar is in a tubular shape and is telescoping; the horizontal bars are made of a carbon fiber enhanced composite material, and each horizontal bar is in a tubular shape or a flat shape. No gap exists between the vertical bars and the horizontal bars. Hooks made of a carbon fiber composite material and absorption type self-locking devices are arranged on the top end of the straight ladder, and sidewall support rods and absorption type self-locking devices are arranged on the bottom end of the straight ladder.
