The invention discloses a preparation method of epoxy mortar for repairing an old building wall. The preparation method of the epoxy mortar for repairing the old building wall comprises the following steps (all the components are weighed in parts by weight): (1) stirring and mixing 90-140 parts of epoxy resin and 10-20 parts of dibutyl phthalate at the temperature of 35-45 DEG C uniformly to obtain a premix A; (2) mixing 10-30 parts of a curing agent and the premix A uniformly to obtain a premix B; (3) mixing 150-200 parts of cement and 500-600 parts of quartz sand uniformly to obtain a premix C; (4) pouring the premix C into the premix B, and performing stirring for 5-6 minutes to obtain the epoxy mortar. The epoxy mortar prepared by the adoption of the method is excellent in adhesion performance and is particularly applied to repairing of the old building wall.
