The road sweeper comprises a sweeper body and a rubbish can installed on the sweeper body, the lower portion of the rear end of the rubbish can is rotationally connected with the rear end of the sweeper body, an oil cylinder is installed at the rear end of the sweeper body and below the rubbish can, the stretching end of the oil cylinder stretches to the front end of the rubbish can and is rotationally connected with a sliding wheel, and the bottom of the rubbish can is provided with a sliding groove matched with the sliding wheel.
