The invention relates to a fastening system for installation shower heads (1) for installing in a wall or ceiling (27), comprising a shower head housing (2) and water-conducting means (3) for connecting at least one water connection (4) to at least one jet creator (5). Said fastening system is characterized in that the shower head housing (2) is connected to a transmission device (6) having an input side (8) and an output side (10), which converts a first motion (7) on the input side (8) into a reciprocating motion (9) in the installation direction on the output side (10), and the output side (10) is connected to the wall or ceiling (27) by fastening means (11).
