The invention discloses a torsion bump key and a torsion key bumping method. The torsion bump key comprises a cylinder body and a shaft body which are arranged together in a mutually rotatable manner; a shaft hole is formed in one end of the cylinder body; the other end of the cylinder body is connected with an operation part; the shaft body is accommodated in the cylinder body; one end of the shaft body penetrates through the shaft hole and extends out of the cylinder body; a part, extending out of the cylinder body, of the shaft body, is used for connecting a key for bumping the key; a torsion spring is accommodated in the cylinder body and is arranged on the shaft body in a sleeving manner; one end of the torsion spring is a first clamping end; the other end of the torsion spring is a second clamping end; the first clamping end is connected with the cylinder body; the second clamping end is connected with the shaft body. According to the torsion bump key disclosed by the invention, the success rate of unlocking by bumping the key is greatly improved; meanwhile, the torsion bump key disclosed by the invention has the advantages of convenience to carry, simple operation, convenience to unlike and the like.
