Folding mechanism for extension ladder
The invention relates to a folding mechanism for an extension ladder. The folding mechanism comprises two stages or more than two stages of ladders in extension coordination; a folding mechanism is arranged between each stage of ladder and the next stage of ladder; the folding mechanism comprises a lock pin used for locking the extension state of each ladder and a button used for pulling the lock pin to enable the ladder to shrink, a fulcrum, a buckle and a wrench are arranged on the button, the button is in rotary fit with the ladder through the fulcrum, the buckle is in clearance fit with the lock pin, and the wrench is arranged on one side of the button, and stretches out of the ladder. According to the folding mechanism for the extension ladder, the button adopts a lever principle to control movement of the lock pin, and even if the lock pin is heavily pressed by the upper part ladder, a user can easily pull the button, so that the lock pin is driven to retract, and folding of the ladders is realized.
