A high-performance rubber composite material for damping bearings and a preparation method thereof belong to the technical field of rubber. The invention provides two novel rubber materials for damping bearings: one is an organic clay rubber composite material which has high tensile strength, elongation at break and modulus of compression and is suitable for laminated rubber of a bearing; And the other is a novel rubber hybrid material which has high damping performance and can greatly raise damping ratio of a bearing. A damping bearing prepared from the above materials has characteristics of excellent damping performance, low equivalent horizontal stiffness, easy transformation under low seismic wave and the like, and meets practical application requirements of a bridge. Replacement of lead cores in bearings is realized.
