The invention provides a self-locking express cabinet and an application method of the self-locking express cabinet. The self-locking express cabinet comprises a cabinet body. The cabinet body comprises a cabinet door and a self-locking device. The self-locking device comprises a pressure sensor, a controller, a spring and an electromagnetic lock, wherein the pressure sensor, the controller and the electromagnetic lock are electrically connected, the pressure sensor is provided with a pressure sensing component, and is located at the bottom of the cabinet body, the pressure sensing component covers the bottom surface of the cabinet body, and linkage rods are arranged at the bottom and on the top of the cabinet body respectively, and movably connected with the cabinet body. The cabinet body comprises a movement sliding groove of the linkage rods, wherein a spring is arranged in the sliding groove, the linkage rods are connected with the spring, and the spring is connected with a damper. The cabinet body comprises an alarm, wherein the alarm is a buzzer.
