The invention provides a porcelain mainly prepared from halloysite. The halloysite is the weathering residue of plagiogranite and the primary kaolin, and the chemical composition is approximate to the theoretical value of kaolin. The porcelain is composed of the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 35-45% of halloysite, 15-25% of kaolin, 15-20% of potash feldspar and 15-25% of quartz. By using the halloysite as the main raw material, the porcelain formula is rationally adjusted and improved to further enhance the porcelain quality. The porcelain finished product prepared according to the porcelain formula has the advantages of high whiteness, white base with blue, favorable moisture, high transparency and smooth and soft glaze, and can satisfy the aesthetical requirements of modern people for high-grade porcelain.
