Freely-overtaking lane arranging method of two lane road
The invention provides a freely-overtaking lane arranging method of a two lane road. The freely-overtaking lane is composed of an auxiliary overtaking lane, which is added along a section of two lane road, and an original overtaking lane for overtaking; and is capable of protecting the safety of drivers on the two lane road through the cooperation of the highway signs and markings. The invention provides the designed length of the freely-overtaking lane, the length of diverging/converging transition section, and the designed width of freely-overtaking lane. Compared with the prior art, the construction cost is low, the traffic signs and markings are smartly utilized to solve the problem that a driver cannot utilize the opposite lane for overtaking on a two lane road. On the basis that no more land is required, the operation benefits and safety benefits of two lane road can be effectively increased by the provided method. At the same time, the method can also be used when a broken car is parked on the two lane road temporally so as to relieve the traffic jam caused by the broken car.
