The invention discloses a blasting type anchor rod and a mounting method thereof. The blasting type anchor rod comprises a rod body, a blasting explosive, a cushion plate and a baffle cover, wherein the rod body is hollow and tubular; the upper end and the lower end of the rod body are opened; a plurality of blasting grooves are uniformly formed in the lower end of the rod body along the circumferential direction; the lower end of the rod body is filled with the blasting explosive and corresponds to the blasting grooves; a detonator is buried in the blasting explosive; the leading wire of the detonator upwards extends from the inner cavity of the rod body to the place outside the upper end of the rod body; the cushion plate sleeves the upper part of the rod body; the baffle cover is a T-shaped tube; the two ends of the T-shaped tube are opened; the inner diameter of the relatively large end of the baffle cover is greater than that of the relatively small end of the baffle cover; the relatively small end of the baffle cover is connected with the upper end of the rod body, so that the cushion plate is compressed on a side slope through the relatively large end. The blasting type anchor rod is simple in structure and convenient to mount; the bottom of the rod body can be firmly clamped in the side slope, so that the pulling resistance of the anchor rod is improved, and the safety of the side slope is guaranteed.

The blasting type anchor rod is simple in structure and convenient to mount; the bottom of the rod body can be firmly clamped in the side slope, so that the pulling resistance of the anchor rod is improved, and the safety of the side slope is guaranteed.
