The invention provides a tooth-reading-prevention lockset. The tooth-reading-prevention lockset comprises a lock body, a lock cylinder and a plurality of lock plates, wherein a key hole is formed in the lock cylinder in the axial direction, a plurality of lock plate grooves are formed in the lock cylinder, the lock plates are correspondingly installed in the lock plate grooves, springs are arranged between the lock plates and the lock plate grooves, two lock stopping grooves symmetrical about the locking plate grooves are formed in the lock body, inner tooth holes are formed in the lock plates, and the lower hole walls of the lock plate inner tooth holes are in the same plane. When a key is drawn out of the lockset and the lockset is in a locked state, the centers of the lock plate inner tooth holes are not in the same straight line, the depths of the corresponding inner teeth on key teeth can not be measured and calculated, a tooth reading tool can not be directly depended for copying the key, and the safety of the lockset is increased.
