Polycrystalline diamond body, manufacturing method therefore, and tool
Provided is a polycrystalline diamond body that lasts longer, in applications involving sliding, than conventional polycrystalline diamond bodies. Also provided are a method for manufacturing said polycrystalline diamond body and a tool. At least one element, an oxide of which has a melting point less than or equal to 1,000 DEG C, is added to this polycrystalline diamond body (2), the mean crystal-grain diameter of which is less than or equal to 500 nm. Abrasion of this diamond is thereby reduced, resulting in a longer usable life in applications involving sliding.
