The invention discloses a method for controlling growth of pond blue-green algae. The method comprises the following steps of step 1, fishing the blue-green algae in a pond; step 2, spraying eucalyptus leaf extract; step 3, planting arrowhead in the pond. According to the method for controlling the growth of the pond blue-green algae, the eucalyptus leaf extract is sprayed in a water body and accordingly the growth of the blue-green algae can be effectively inhibited; the arrowhead is planted in the water body and accordingly phosphorus in the water body can be largely absorbed and accordingly the growth of the blue-green algae is inhibited and the arrowhead is good in economic value; the method is simple, the cost is low, and the control on the growth of the pond blue-green algae is effective.
