The invention relates to a method for the cape seal of a preventative-maintenance experimental road. The method for the cape seal of the preventative-maintenance experimental road comprises the following steps of utilizing a styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) block copolymer rubber dual-modified asphalt macadam seal coat as a lower bearing coat; paving a micro-surfacing, so as to form an integral structure, wherein the micro-surfacing comprises the following components in respective proportions: 100 parts of mineral aggregates, 10 to 14 parts of modified emulsified asphalt, 1 to 3 parts of cement, and 4 to 14 parts of water. Through the method provided by the invention, while a road is enabled to be excellent in antiskid performance and favorable in flatness, the permeation of surface water to a basal layer can be effectively prevented, the influences of diseases of the basic layer on a surface layer are relieved, a road surface can be effectively protected, and the service life of the road surface is prolonged.
