Symmetric rotational-flow desilting pool
A symmetric rotational-flow desilting pool mainly comprises a water inlet channel, two water inlet culverts, a hopper chamber, a water return channel and the like. A bottom desilting hole is formed in the central position of the bottom face of the hopper chamber, the sidewall of the hopper chamber is formed by two semicircles which are identical in radius and not coincident in circle center, sidewalls of the two water inlet culverts are tangent to the sidewall of the hopper chamber, upper-stream ends of the water inlet culverts are connected with the water inlet channel, an annular cover plate is arranged on the hopper chamber, an outer edge of the cover plate is connected with the sidewall of the hopper chamber, an inner edge of the cover plate is connected with the bottom portion of a cylindrical sidewall, the top of the cylindrical sidewall recesses to form two overflow weirs, and the overflow weirs are communicated with the water return channel. The symmetric rotational-flow desilting pool has the advantages that air vortexes in the hopper chamber can be stabilized, and silt in water can be desilted effectively and smoothly.
