The invention discloses a power plant riverbed water fetching device which comprises a water inlet, a regulation and storage pool and a water fetching pump room. The regulation and storage pool is arranged between the water inlet and the water fetching pump room, the water inlet is communicated with the regulation and storage pool, and a sand setting area is arranged at a position, close to the water inlet, of the regulation and storage pool and communicated with the regulation and storage pool. The regulation and storage pool is arranged between the water inlet and the water fetching pump room, and water flowing in from the water inlet flows into the regulation and storage pool firstly, so that water storage quantity of the regulation and storage pool is guaranteed during application, and requirements, on safety of long-time continuous water supply, of a power plant are met; the sand setting area is arranged, so that preformed precipitation of raw water fetched by the water inlet can be realized the first time, and quality of the raw water which enters the regulation and storage pool and then enters the water fetching pump room is improved greatly, difficulty in integral cleaning and maintaining of the water fetching device is lowered, and only the sand setting area needs to be cleaned during maintaining.
