The car door lock comprises a lock body, a door lock support, a swing rod and a steel cable. The lateral collision unlocking preventing device comprises a locking rod and a drive rod, wherein the locking rod is hinged to the lock body and provided with an abutting end, one end of the drive rod is hinged to the door lock support, and the other end of the drive rod is hinged to the other end of the swing rod. A pin can move relative to the swing rod. A tensioning part is disposed on the lock body. The lateral collision unlocking preventing device further comprises a positioning mechanism which can prevent the locking rod to perform reset swing after the locking rod is abutted against the swing rod. By the lateral collision unlocking preventing device, car door unlocking can be prevented after a car is subjected to lateral collision, and safety is increased.
