The invention provides copolymer enhanced lightweight gypsum decorative materials. The following auxiliary materials of, by weight, 0.3 to 30 parts of copolymer reinforcing materials, 40 to 85 parts of water, 0.01 to 6.5 parts of retarder, 4.0 to 55 parts of lightweight filling materials, 0.3 to 25 parts of fiber filling materials and 0 to 35 parts of white cement are added into 100 mass parts of gypsum material to form the copolymer enhanced lightweight gypsum decorative materials. According to the copolymer enhanced lightweight gypsum decorative materials, the excellent forming capability and forming machining performance of the original gypsum decorative materials is maintained, the volume weight of the copolymer enhanced lightweight gypsum decorative materials after forming can be reduced, the load of a building structure is greatly reduced, and meanwhile the components can be uniformly dispersed in the gypsum materials due to the formula and the technological method and accordingly the sufficient use strength of the copolymer enhanced lightweight gypsum decorative materials is ensured, the cost is basically not increased, and the problem that the load of the building structure is increased due to the large volume weight of the existing gypsum decorative materials is fundamentally solved.
