The invention relates to a pottery clay plate processing formula. The pottery clay plate processing formula comprises 17% of white clay, 18% of red clay, 30% of clinker, 27% of glue and 8% of accessory materials. The accessory materials comprise 2% of rare-earth yttrium oxide, 2% of rare-earth praseodymium oxide, 2% of rare-earth cerium oxide and 2% of calcium oxide. The pottery clay plate processing formula utilizes rare earth elements and calcium chloride based on the original pottery clay plate formula. The used rare earth elements can change an included substance form by desulphurization and deoxidation, improve normal and low temperature toughness and fracture properties of the pottery clay plate, improve plasticity, toughness, stability and freezing and thawing performances of the pottery clay plate, can absorb or emit lights with different wavelengths from UV, visible light to infrared light zone and has a small light zone range so that the color of the pottery clay plate is soft, pure, novel and glossy. Calcium chloride provides excellent waterproof, dust collection and self-cleaning functions for the pottery clay plate.
