The invention relates to a rail grabbing device for an overhead line boarding ladder. The rail grabbing device comprises a connecting rod, wherein a rail claw is hinged at each of two ends of the connecting rod, and one oblique locking spring is arranged on each of two sides of each rail claw; one end of each locking spring is fixedly connected with the corresponding rail claw, and the other end of the locking spring is fixedly connected with one end of the connecting rod. The device is reasonable in structure design, convenient to operate, easy to maintain and high in reliability and can effectively prevent overturning of the overhead line boarding ladder, the operation time is shortened, the labor intensity of a worker is greatly reduced, the weight is reduced, and the portability is improved.
