The invention discloses an ecological construction material prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 8-14 parts of corn stalk powder, 7-15 parts of medical stone, 2-5 parts of resin, 3-6 parts of wood fibers, 2-7 parts of hollow glass beads, 1.2-2.1 parts of a binder, 1.3-1.7 parts of a waterproof agent, 7-18 parts of polystyrene particles, 2-6 parts of cellulose ether, 3-7 parts of redispersible latex powder, 4-7 parts of mica powder, 2-4 parts of a bactericide, 3-6 parts of a thickener and 4-5 parts of microlite. The ecological construction material disclosed by the invention is very good in sound insulation and absorption effects, favorable in heat insulation property, free of pollution and hazards, beneficial to environment protection and energy-saving.
