The invention discloses a roof provided with radial inhaul cables and radial opening and closing membranes. The roof comprises a Hoberman radial expansion/retraction truss, wherein rhombic units which are mutually connected are formed in an opening and closing plane of the radial expansion/retraction truss; an area unit arranged in the a circumferential direction is formed in the opening and closing plane of the Hoberman radial expansion/retraction truss, each rhombic unit in the area unit is divided into mutually connected subunits along an a center line in the ring direction, an opening and closing membrane unit is arranged at the upper part of each rhombic unit, and an inhaul cable unit is arranged a the lower part of each subunit. According to the roof provided with the radial inhaul cables and the radial opening and closing membranes, the rigid truss and a flexible membrane material are combined, so that the roof can be taken as an upper bearing structure to bear certain vertical load; the rigidity of the structure is enhanced through the inhaul cables at the lower part of the truss, the construction is simple, and the roof is particularly suitable for buildings with medium and small spans.
