The invention belongs to the technical field of windows of motor train units and discloses an airtight ventilation window on sides of a motor train unit. The airtight ventilation window comprises an outer frame installed on a train body. A movable-sash window is installed in the outer frame, one end of the movable-sash window is hinged to the outer frame, and the other end of the movable-sash window is provided with a movable-sash handle used for being connected with the outer frame. The openable movable-sash window is adopted, the movable-sash window can be rotated by 180 degrees, a space in an automobile is not occupied after the window is opened, and thus ventilation or escape can be realized; the safety inside and outside the train can be further guaranteed under the ventilation state through the arrangement of a protective screen, thus the situation that passengers throw foreign objects and the safety of adjacent lines is influenced is avoided, and the safety of the passengers is guaranteed; the movable-sash window is positioned through a movable-sash window positioning device; the movable-sash window adopts a sealing way of double sealing rubber strips, a slight compression function is fulfilled when a window sash lock is locked, the airtightness between an inner frame and the outer frame, that is, between the movable-sash window and the outer frame can be guaranteed through the double-layer or multi-layer sealing rubber strips, and therefore the use requirement is met.
