The present invention discloses a thermal-insulation coating, which comprises, by weight, 2-4 parts of magnesium oxide, 30-35 parts of a silicon-containing material, 30-40 parts of vermiculite powder, 5-7 parts of perlite powder, 6-10 parts of mica powder, 3-4 parts of an adhesive, and 0.1-0.5 part of plant protein glue. The thermal-insulation coating of the present invention has the following beneficial effects that: the thermal-insulation coating selects a variety of ores as the raw materials so as to provide advantages of no pollution, good stability, thermal insulation, sound insulation, fire resistance and the like, the adhesion is strong so as to firmly attach to the material surface layer, the durability is good, and the environmental protection coating of the present invention has characteristics of easy construction and easy promotion, and is the high-quality green environmental protection building material.
