The invention discloses waterproof gypsum and relates to the technical field of building materials. The waterproof gypsum is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by weight: 60 to 80 parts of gypsum, 15 to 25 parts of borax, 12 to 25 parts of cement, 8 to 13 parts of an alum expanding agent, 5 to 10 parts of stearic acid emulsion, 4 to 8 parts of polyvinyl alcohol emulsion, 17 to 28 parts of paraffin emulsion and 2 to 10 parts of a waterproof agent. Compared with the prior art, the waterproof gypsum can improve the water resistance of gypsum.
