The invention relates to floating bead thermal insulation material, which is prepared from the following raw materials by weight: 4-11 parts of triethanolamine, 5-10 parts of polyvinyl alcohol, 3-10 parts of calcium carbonate, 5-10 parts of linear low density polyethylene, 9-14 parts of filler, 3-8 parts of water glass, 1-5 parts of a penetrant, 3-9 parts of petroleum resin, 6-9 parts of p-phenylenediamine, 2-9 parts of elastic fiber, 1-4 parts of stannous chloride, 6-8 parts of montmorillonite, 1-3 parts of a thiadiazole derivative, 7-11 parts of rutile type titanium dioxide, 15-24 parts of floating beads, and 2-7 parts of a lubricant. The floating bead thermal insulation material provided by the invention has very good thermal insulation effect, is also high temperature resistant, and has good hardness and wear resistance.
