A manufacturing process of porcelain clay containing large-ball clay
A manufacturing process of porcelain clay containing large-ball clay is provided. The process includes steps of elutriating, ball milling, removing iron, dehydrating, ageing, pugging, and the like. The large-ball clay is also called halloysite, and comprises plagiopematite granite weathered residue and protogenetic kaolin. Components of the large-ball clay are similar to theoretical values of kaolin. The process adopts the large-ball clay as the main raw material, screens mass content ranges of chemical macroelements in the raw material, and improves the process steps of elutriating, ball milling, removing iron, dehydrating, ageing, pugging, and the like. The porcelain clay prepared by the process is proper in water content, uniform in cement distribution, high in plasticity, few in bubbles, fine and free of visible impurities. A porcelain finished product prepared by the process is high in whiteness, green on a white base, good in moisture degree, high in transparency, and bright, clean, soft and moist in glaze, and can meet aesthetic requirements of modern for high-grade porcelains.
