The invention introduces a self-lifting device for bridge overhaul, which is used for overhauling a bridge. The self-lifting device for bridge overhaul is characterized by comprising a horizontal steel rope, a horizontal walking device, a vertical steel rope, a self-lifting device and a safety frame; the horizontal steel rope is arranged at the bottom part of the bridge, and both ends are respectively fixed at both sides of the bridge; the horizontal walking device is arranged on the horizontal steel rope, and the vertical steel rope is arranged on the horizontal walking device; the self-lifting device is arranged on the vertical steel rope, and the safety frame is arranged on the self-lifting device; the self-lifting device drives the safety frame to lift along the vertical steel rope, and the horizontal walking device drives the vertical steel rope, the self-lifting device and the safety frame to horizontally move under the bottom of the bride. When the device is applied to overhaul the bridge, the device cannot bring the load burden to the bridge and not influence the bridge traffic for the detection dead corner; the device is low in cost, convenient to operate, safe and reliable.
