The invention discloses an edge protection plate, and relates to the technical field of a grate cooler. The edge protection plate is arranged on a grid plate of the grate cooler, and comprises a fixed plate, a middle piece and a movable plate, wherein the fixed plate is fixedly connected with the grid plate; the movable plate is movably connected with the grid plate; a groove is formed in the upper surface of the fixed plate; connecting holes are respectively formed in the fixed plate and the middle piece; the fixed plate and the middle piece are connected by bolts through the connecting holes; an extension arm is arranged on the movable plate; the movable plate comprises a limiting plate and a baseplate; the two ends of the extension arm are respectively connected with the limiting plate and the baseplate; the limiting plate is hinged to the baseplate; a groove is formed in the baseplate; and a limiting table is arranged in the groove. The edge protection plate can effectively improve the use flexibility, and is liable to be disassembled and replaced.
