Opacifier, preparation method thereof and ceramic glaze with the opacifier
The invention relates to opacifier, a preparation method thereof and ceramic glaze with the opacifier and belongs to the field of ceramic glaze. The opacifier is mainly prepared from 5-40% of calcium carbonate, 5-40% of titanium dioxide, 0.05-2.5% of dispersing aid and rest of water by weight. The ceramic glaze with the opacifier is prepared from raw materials including 6 to 10 parts of opacifier, 30 to 35 parts of quartz, 25 to 30 parts of potash feldspar, 2 to 4 parts of aluminum oxide, 10 to 12 parts of calcite, 4 to 6 parts of dolomite, 2 to 3 parts of zinc oxide, 4 to 5 parts of kaolin and 1 to 2.5 parts of clinker by weight. Because the opacifier is composite particle which uses calcium carbonate as core and crystalline titanium dioxide as film, the opacifier can enable the ceramic glaze to form stable titanite crystal form, and the ceramic glaze surface yellowing due to directly adding titanium dioxide particles is effectively avoided.
